Local Spirits vs Post Office

Back in May, I posted a dream I had about Akashic Postal Boxes.

The truth is, I actually needed a PO box and I had trouble getting one in the past. So it didn’t come as a surprise when I went to get one a couple of weeks ago and once again, I had all kinds of trouble. It makes no sense why I’d have any trouble in the first place. But all kinds of issues kept coming up.

After almost two weeks of being told no for all kinds of reasons, I went home truly mad and frustrated with the whole situation, thinking of the problems that shouldn’t have been problems in the first place, and of the dream.

And I remembered a part of the dream I hadn’t paid any attention to until now:

The bad guy who was so determined to stop me from getting a PO box was trying to use his authority as sheriff to stop me. And I only managed to get what I wanted when I decided that -no matter what kind of authority he had in this town- I was part of the town too. It was MY town too and I had every right to get a PO box in my own town.

So I decided to handle the situation the same way in waking life too.

I went to the post office and before going in, I called the local spirits, explained the situation and promised specific offerings if the situation was resolved successfully. And then I went in. And all of a sudden, everyone was extremely cooperative, and as it turns out what I was asking to do could be done exactly the way I had originally suggested. The matter was settled within minutes.

So I now have a new PO box, the spirits got offerings and everyone is happy. Building relationships with the local spirits truly pays off.
