How Neville Goddard’s Wife Manifested Her Marriage With The Law Of Assumption & How You Can Too!

I’ve already written about how Neville Goddard used the law of assumption to manifest marrying his specific person (his second wife).

Today I want to talk about the other end of the coin: how Neville Goddard’s wife manifested marrying him! This is an important and very insteresting story that rarely gets mentioned.

But Neville talked about it in one of his lectures and gave very specific instructions how to use the same method to manifest marriage too! If you want to manifest marriage to your specific person with the law of assumption then this is one of the simplest and most effective methods you can use.

It is also a great law of assumption method if you don’t have a specific person in mind but want to manifest your soulmate or the ideal person for you (the perfect husband or wife).

So let’s dive right in!

HOW TO MANIFEST MARRIAGE WITH YOUR SPECIFIC PERSON OR YOUR IDEAL PERSON

Before telling us the story about his wife, Neville Goddard actually gives us one of the simplest methods for manifesting marriage.

Here’s what he said, in his own words. This is an excerpt from his lecture “Power” from 1968:

So, you try it tonight. Try it with anything in this world. The unmarried, if you desire to be married – what symbol in the world would imply that you are married? A little band?

In this western world a little band around this ring finger – not around any other finger – around this finger. It doesn’t have to be the biggest aspidistra in the world, just a plain little gold ring. If you wore it there, it would imply you’re married. Sleep tonight as though you wore one.

Don’t put your physical thumb on it; put your imaginary thumb on it, and feel it in your imagination. You can do it! Feel a ball. Can you feel it? Then feel a piece of silk. Feel this, one after the other. Can you discriminate between all these different sensations? If you can discriminate between this and a tennis ball and a baseball and a piece of silk, then you can’t discriminate between nothings. They must exist. Though unseen by your eyes they still must exist! So, if I can discriminate between these unseen objects, these objects, though unseen, must be real.

Well, now take that and put it there, but feel when you wear it, that you are proud of the one who put it there. You don’t have to see what he looks like. When it’s put there, you’ll be proud of his name, to bear it, and you’ll be proud of him. Just put it there.

In this part of the lecture, Neville has given us one of the simplest methods to manifest marriage.

All you have to do is imagine that you are wearing a wedding ring, and feel proud for wearing it, for being married to this amazing person that you are happy to call your husband/your wife.

Notice that you don’t need to imagine the person. You don’t even need to KNOW who the person is for this visualization to work and manifest your perfect marriage.

And if visualization isn’t your strongest suit it doesn’t matter either, because he clearly says you don’t need to see the wedding band either!

All you need is to imagine that you are wearing a wedding band, feel its weight on your finger and feel the emotions you would feel if you were very happily married to the right person for you that makes you happy. And every night, fall asleep with this sensation that you’re wearing this wedding ring and feeling all those wonderful feelings.

HOW NEVILLE GODDARD’S WIFE MANIFESTED HER MARRIAGE WITH HIM

Right after giving us the exact method, Neville talks about how he knows that it works so well: because his wife did it, to manifest him!

Here’s the story, in his own words:

Do you know why I know that? My wife did it. She did it! Actually, she did it.

One day she was in the presence of a so-called sensitive, and this one said to her, “Why did you take off your wedding ring?” She said, “I am not married.” “Oh,” she said, “don’t fool me. You took off your wedding ring.” She said, “But I’m not married.” She said, “I’ll even tell you his name,” and she started off with Neb –Neba – Neva – she didn’t quite get it but she was coming very, very close to it.

She was actually sensing what my wife in consciousness was feeling.

When I first met her, I wanted her. The very first day I knew her I wanted to marry her, but I was entangled. Was I entangled!

But, by this law, I disentangled myself. Without hurting anyone, I disengaged myself from all these complexities so that I could actually legitimately say, “Will you marry me?” But in the meanwhile she was wearing the ring. I hadn’t yet put it there, but she allowed me to put it there and slept as though I had put it there.

So I tell you unmarried ladies, if you desire to be married (maybe you don’t) – if you do, that’s the way to do it. And he’ll come out of the nowhere. You don’t have to go and buy anyone or try to meet the right people. Usually when you try to meet the right one, he’s always the wrong one. So don’t go searching. Those who go searching for love only make manifest their own love-less-ness, and the love-less never find love. Only the loving find love, and they never have to seek for it. You draw them; they come to you.

So that’s what Neville has to say about how his second wife manifested marrying him.

Now let’s go over as few points of this story because some parts are a bit confusing if you don’t know about Neville Goddard’s life.

NEVILLE GODDARD WAS ALREADY MARRIED WHEN HE MET HIS WIFE

Neville mentions that when he met his second wife for the first time, he was “entangled”. What he means is that he was already married to another woman. They had married back in Barbados when he was very young and the marriage only lasted a few years and then they got separated.

By the time he fell in love with his second wife, he hadn’t seen his first wife in several years and by Barbados law, that would be considered an automatic divorce. By New York law though, in order to be considered divorced you had to have official divorce papers from a court. Which he didn’t have and couldn’t locate his second wife to get. I’ve written about the story of how Neville manifested his divorce with his first wife so that he could marry his second wife without anyone getting hurt, if you want the details about it. It’s a very interesting story, especially for those of you who are manifesting a specific person and are dealing with a third party.

But let's get back to our current story and what Neville's second wife did to manifest getting married to him.

Now in this story Neville Goddard's second wife didn't yet know him so she wasn't manifesting a specific person in this case but was manifesting getting married.

So what she did was she went to bed every night and in her imagination she went to bed as a married woman. She felt that she was a married woman and she felt there was a wedding ring on her finger.

And what that did was it manifested Neville into her life. Neville who up until that point wasn't actually interested in getting married again but he saw her and he fell in love with her.

THE RING WAS REAL BEFORE IT WAS PHYSICAL

Now before she even met Neville, she went to a sensitive. By “sensitive”, Neville means a psychic.

What happened was this psychic was actually able to see the wedding ring on her finger that she had put there in her imagination. Even though it wasn’t a physical ring, to a psychic it was visible on her finger.

That is confirmation that what Neville says time and time again in his books and in his lectures is true:

Physical reality is not the real world. Your imagination is the real world, and your physical, 3D reality is just a mirror reflecting what exists in your imagination.

Just because it wasn’t a physical ring on her finger doesn’t mean that the vision was fake. The ring was already real in the imaginary world, it just hadn’t become physical yet. It was real enough for a third person (the psychic or sensitive) to see it. But a short time later it did become a physical wedding ring, when she married Neville.

Many people struggle with the law of assumption because when they imagine reality as they want it to be, they feel it’s all fake and they are delusional for imagining their world and their life that way.

But everything that exists in the physical world gets created in your imagination first, and it already exists long before it becomes a physical thing. It’s real enough that a psychic person can see it!
